I started using Old Style Repair back in 2005 through my son who had truly had some bad experiences at other auto centers. I was so impressed with how Bruce treated my son, and worked so hard to repair issues created by other service centers, I decided I would like to bring my vehicle to him. However, I was afraid he was tired of seeing my face with all the work he had done on my son's car. But Bruce was happy to service my vehicles, and over the years, with all the auto repair service centers I have used, I have never been treated with such respect and dignity, and received such awesome service, as I do at Old Style Repair.

This past Christmas Day I was to go to work, and my Nissan Xtera would not start. I phoned Old Style, Bruce and Donna at home, and they drove out on Christmas Day to Metchosin to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. They started it, which saved me a tow truck and drove it to the shop, and fixed it on Boxing Day, making sure I got it back, as I had to work the entire Christmas period. You tell me any other business that would come out for you on Christmas Day, and get this, I was not charged for anything but the repair the vehicle needed; these people have Christmas in their hearts, they said this is Christmas, and this is life. They work and committment is always above average. They are community minded businesss owners, who do not hesitate to help out with Community Events, including helping our Madhatter's Cat Club with the Sydney Food Bank Collection. That's out of their community, but that does not matter to them, as they know all communitys require help.

Over the past couple of years I have been servicing my car at Old Style, always with the same result. First, I get expert advice, as Old Style Repair really know their stuff, and I have no idea how they keep all of that info and knowledge in their heads. Second, they fix what needs fixing, and that's all, they seem interested in keeping my bill within the comfortable level of honesty, and have never padded or fixed stuff that does not need to be done. They keep me safe. Well I have to talk about third, when there is no solution, they go that extra mile and think outside of the box. An example would be my broken seat, which there was no seat to replace it, the solution was to remove the seat and fix it, and then replace my original seat. I don't want to mention what they charged, but it was less than a new seat, and I was certainly glad I was at Old Style Repair, as these people use their heads to figure things out. Fourth, I get treated like a person, a real person, when I go to the shop, they know who I am, and if I need a ride, I get a ride. Fifth, I have talked to other Old Style Customers, and they all have the same experience dealing with this wonderful company. I have never had a relationship with an auto repair shop like this before, but I know I will be a loyal customer as long as they are in business.

Old Style Repair is a very honest shop in town. After many auto problems, I was told to go there. I had quotes from my previous places, but when all was said and done for all that needed to be done I was paying $600.00 less than what others had wanted from me. Much work was quoted on, but was not needed. As a single woman going to a repair shop is not pleasant, it is scary. At Old Style you will find friendly, honest people whom you can trust. My 17 year old son, Trevor attended Old Style Repair to have a complete report done on his 1992 truck. Being a teenage boy he expected to be treated differently than an adult coming to pay for the same service, which sadly happens too often, but Old Style staff was different.
